Bloom photoshoot/ ceremony
When we create new designs, it’s important to us that we have them worn and moved in. With the launch of our first collection Bloom, we gathered a group of women who had mostly never modelled. We captured the energy of the pieces while having them tested by a diverse group of beautiful Wāhine. It’s so important to us to make clothing that feels accessible to women of all body types so this photoshoot felt like a key part of the process.
The day had a ceremonial feel, a women’s circle. When women gather, we naturally hold space for one-another. Starting with a Cacao ceremony with delicious Cacao from local business Ka Kā Wā , we then all shared a bit about ourselves and what brought each of us to be a part of the day. We shared some snacks, with much laughter and fun everyone got into their chosen Felix pieces. There was so much magic in the day, adorning some of our models in paint, glitter and dried flowers we invited in the divine feminine to really sink into the feeling of being free and empowered. Kassandra our photographer held an incredibly supportive, encouraging space where each woman was able to express herself with ease, in all her beauty.
We feel so much gratitude to this wonderful group of Wāhine and special thanks to Lili and Kristina for sharing their home with us to create this magical day.

This photoshoot was intentionally designed to feel like a scared ceremony - a gathering of women in circle to share intentions, witness one another, and embrace the power of collective energy. Far from your traditional fashion shoot, this was a celebration of women’s freedom, strength, and individuality, where the participants- everyday women rather than professional models- came together to express themselves fully. There was a sense of unity as we honored each person’s journey and the power they bring to the world.
The creative direction of the shoot blended elements of nature, ritual, and feminine mystique. With the backdrop of the lush, green landscapes, we incorporated props such as flowers, a black cat, and an apple- bringing to life a powerful connection to the earth and evoking subtle Eden vibes, witchery, and feminine power. Laughter, love, and inspiration filled the air as each woman, confidently adorned in the Bloom collection, embodied the essence of freedom in her own skin.
